COOL PHOTOS FROM SEPTEMBER 2024
recently me n my wife have started going out to take some photos around the city, heres the best ones from september :3
last year while i was still working on higher plane i went out to a random field to take some photos for the back cover of the ep for a potential cd release (which ofc didnt happen and probably never will)
then earlier this year i took my wife there and we noticed a very degraded abandoned house on the way there and just kinda thought "huh it would be cool to come here to take photos of it" so we did :P
unfortunately the photos at the field really showcase the shortcomings of my camera, the vegetation just devolves into an indistinguishable blobby mess. most likely because of the jpeg compression in the camera itself.
we tried to get closer to the house but we hadnt found a path up to it and the vegetation was just too tall and thick to walk all the way up there. tho afterwards i checked maps and found a path so we will be going back there soon :3
afterwards we drove around for a while and then went to an abandoned factory inside the city
this used to be a grain processing plant until the company running it went bankrupt, then it was turned into a shirt factory until it burned down in 1975 and has been abandoned ever since
id like to put a lot more info about the factory (while it was in operation) here but that last paragraph is literally all the info easily available about it online, i wasnt even able to find a date for when it became a shirt factory or at least when the original company went bankrupt.
i spent far too much time trying to id this truck to no success, ill most likely go back to take more photos and when i do ill try to get closer to it :3
some extra photos that arent good but i still like :3
we didnt take many photos in september (all of these are just 1 trip right at the end of the month) but if this does become a regular thing i will probably make monthly blogposts like this :3
